Following successful trials with a number of customers we’re pleased to announce our latest product: Selector Insight Interview.

Selector Insight Interview is an add-on report for Selector Insight, which generates questions for you to ask your candidate—and their referees—based on the candidate’s responses to the Selector Insight assessment.

October 7, 2008: Changes to SAM

With our recent update to the web site we also made some significant changes to SAM.

The key changes are to the sharing and owner ship models. We feel we’ve simplified and how you manage projects while making the process more flexible.

We’ve also improved the search option and now allow you to include your own candidate references.

September 16, 2008: HRINZ Expo Hamper Winner Announced!

A week ago, Grant and Esther had a very successful trip down to Wellington for the annual HRINZ Expo. We were amongst the forty-five exhibitors at the Expo, which was attended by over 300 delegates.

As part of the giveaways at our stand we had an absolutely divine hamper packed with delicious goodies. Today we are proud to announce the winner! A big congratulations to Nick from 3 Months Web Solutions! And thank you to everyone who entered the draw.

September 8, 2008: New brand identity!

We’ve refreshed our brand and we’ve changed our product names to better reflect the part they play in helping you make better people decisions.

We’ve also upgraded SAM, the Selector Assessment Manager, with a streamlined interface and improved project handling; easy–to–understand project sharing plus an improved search.

The changes will not affect your ability to assess candidates. For the most part, only the names have changed.

  • Selector PA has become Selector Professional
  • Selector e-Profiler II is now known as Selector Insight
  • Selector eP-Retail changed to Selector Retail
  • Selector SMR becomes Selector Resilience and
  • Selector CareerStep stays the same!

Selector Insight now combines Selector e-Profiler II and Selector ePW (Workstyle), just choose whether you want the Ability Measure when you add the candidate invitation.

We’ve posted a description of what’s changed and what’s stayed the same and feel confident you’ll have no trouble finding your way around.

February 1, 2007: Minor changes to SAM

For those of you with a SAM Monthly Billing account you will have become used to us refering to your candidates by name on your invoice to help you to identify your purchases.

We became aware that this could present a privacy issue for the candidate, especially when applying for in-house positions and where the invoice is being approved by one of their peers.

To that end we now refer to the candidates by their unique Candidate Reference (e.g. sam00000001), rather than by name.

To help you reconcile your invoice we’ve changed the Search feature in SAM to allow you to search by Candidate Reference. This makes it straight-forward to find your candidates’ details.

December 19, 2006: New for the Summer

December sees us revamping our site and continuing to update many of our products.

SAM now supports most modern Web browsers, including: Internet Explorer 7, Opera 9, Firefox 1.5 and 2.0, Safari 2.0 and Konqueror.

Other additions include:

  • A search option to help find your candidates
  • Dates that adjust to your timezone
  • Improved help
