New brand identity!
Overview
We’ve refreshed our brand and changed our product names to better reflect the part they play in helping you make better people decisions.
We’ve also upgraded SAM, the Selector Assessment Manager, with a streamlined interface and improved project handling; easy–to–understand project sharing plus an improved search.
Product names
Today we introduced our renamed product range:
- Selector PA has become Selector Professional
- Selector e-Profiler II is now known as Selector Insight
- Selector eP-Retail changed to Selector Retail
- Selector SMR becomes Selector Resilience and
- Selector CareerStep stays the same!
Selector Insight combines Selector e-Profiler II and Selector ePW (Workstyle), just choose whether you want the Ability Measure before you send the candidate invitation.

Projects
We’ve simplified the user–interface by combining the “detail” and “candidates” project views and removed the “Personal”, “Team” and “Company” folders.
Now, if you have more than one SAM Administrator, you can choose who sees you project simply by clicking the “Share...” button.
Your list of projects will include any that other Administrators have shared with you.
Reference
Some time ago, for those of you who are billing customers, we started including candidate references on your invoice. (We used to show the candidates’ names but we realised this presented a privacy issue for some of our customers.)
Now, you can add your own reference field to each candidate. This is searchable to make it easier to find your candidates and will appear on your bill, if your a billing customer.
Search
Our search feature now allows you to search using the new reference field as well as our reference and various other candidate details.
Another addition is the ability to search for deleted candidates! When you delete a candidate who’s been sent an assessment invitation, they disappear out of the system and the assessment credit gets returned for you to use with another candidate. Since we bill you when you send the assessment, we record the deleted candidate’s reference on your bill.
Until now it was difficult to reconcile the assessment to a candidate but now you can search with the reference and the search will return the candidate’s details even if they were deleted.
